<p class="wp-block-paragraph">When I watched Jurassic Park, the previous film in the series, in the early 1990s, it was the dawn of 3DCG. I remember watching it excitedly as a child, marveling at the new expressions that represented that era.<br>Considering that more than 20 years have passed, we may need a new dinosaur movie in the current style for today&#8217;s children. There may be a dinosaur boom.<br>It was exciting as an attraction movie when I visited an amusement park.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Just when you thought it was going to be about dinosaurs again.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The newly started Jurassic Park, &#8220;Jurassic World,&#8221; was a betrayal in a good way.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Forgive me for saying this, but I did not have high expectations before seeing the movie, &#8220;Jurassic Park,&#8221; released in 1993. The film featured the most advanced visual technology, and realistic dinosaurs ran amok on the screen! The movie amazed the world that it triggered a dinosaur boom.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, when you see the movie, you will realize it is not just a dinosaur panic movie. It was a dinosaur movie and a film about human folly.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The theme of the film was the problem of human ego and inequality. The horror of creating life for one&#8217;s ego and treating it as property. Some people were planning to use life as a &#8220;tool of war.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I believe that the act of using life as a tool is something that only happens in movies. But in reality, it is already happening. The weak are treated as &#8220;tools&#8221; by the strong. People who are deprived of their dignity as human beings and oppressed by the strong. It was heartbreaking.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Homage to the first film in the series, &#8220;Jurassic Park</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Jurassic World&#8221; was a tribute to the first film in the series, &#8220;Jurassic Park.&#8221;</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The gate leading to Jurassic World. The scene where the dinosaurs chase the dinosaurs. The scene where a T-Rex attacks the dinosaur in a vehicle. The scene where the operator is cuddled up to a fallen dinosaur. The operator wore a T-shirt. The heroine&#8217;s attire. The scene where the smoke bomb is used is &#8220;Jurassic Park&#8221; as it is, and all of them are impressive.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In addition, John Williams&#8217; &#8220;Jurassic Park&#8221; melody was played in the scene where the full story of Jurassic World is revealed.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Jurassic World&#8221; can be enjoyed by those who have never seen the series. But people who know the past series could enjoy it from a different angle.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The real stars of the show are the two brothers.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">No matter what anyone says, the hero of &#8220;Jurassic World&#8221; is Owen, played by Chris Pratt. However, the real protagonists are the two brothers.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The older brother, Zach, is a 16-year-old boy. He is a bit twisted because he is still in adolescence. The younger brother, Gray, is an 11-year-old boy who loves dinosaurs. This film begins with the brothers visiting Jurassic World.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The brothers&#8217; parents are on the verge of divorce but have not confided in their children. The children, however, are already aware of this. The two brothers are left in the care of their aunt, Claire, who oversees Jurassic World. Claire is profit-driven and considers her family &#8220;secondary.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The adults around the brothers could be more reliable. Despite this, the siblings survive and escape the pursuit of the ferocious dinosaurs. And they are more resilient than you might think, as they save the day by repairing a car that is almost as good as an old one. In &#8220;Jurassic Park,&#8221; the Murphy siblings, Hammond&#8217;s grandchildren, are in the same position, but they are accompanied by Dr. Grant, which shows how resilient the brothers are in this film.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Zero Surprising Storylines</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One thing that bothered me about Jurassic World was the zero-surprise storyline.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The film is full of challenges, such as a scathing critique of society and genetically engineered dinosaurs. It is a novel element in that the Velociraptor, a fearsome dinosaur in Jurassic Park, is called Blue in this film and closely interacts with the main character, Owen.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However, the movie remains the same panic movie that has been shown for ages. I could guess early on what the ending would be. In short, it is a stereotypical panic movie. Well, It may also result from the homage to Jurassic Park.<br>However, if I had wanted, I would have liked it to be a little more adventurous because it is the first new film in 14 years, counting from &#8220;Jurassic Park III.&#8221;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Human egos have taken over from Jurassic Park.</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The second half of the &#8220;Jurassic World&#8221; movie played like a war movie.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The cause of the dinosaurs&#8217; rampage in &#8220;Jurassic World&#8221; was the escape of the genetically engineered dinosaur &#8220;Indominus. What caused Indominus to escape was inadequate facilities. The excessive ego and stupidity of humans caused the inadequate facilities.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The fact that lives are in danger is not conveyed to visitors to Jurassic World. Sacrificing people&#8217;s lives to protect their interests has resulted in strangling their own. Similar events have already happened in the reality of &#8220;war.&#8221;</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">本作の前作シリーズにあたるジュラシックパークは自分が観た時は1990年初頭の3DCG黎明期。その時代の代表作といえる新しい表現の驚きを子供時代にワクワクしながら観た記憶があります。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">20年以上経過してることも考えると、改めて今の子供たちのために今風に作り直された恐竜映画が必要かもしれません。ちょいちょいある恐竜ブームがあるのかもしれません。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">遊園地にいったときのアトラクション映画として、とてもおもしろいものでした。</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">また恐竜の話かと思ったら…</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">新しく始まったジュラシック・パークである「ジュラシック・ワールド」は、良い意味で裏切られた作品でした。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">語弊があるかもしれませんが、観る前はあまり期待していなかったのです。93年に公開された映画「ジュラシック・パーク」の存在は、あまりにも大き過ぎます。当時としては、最新鋭の映像技術が導入され、リアルな恐竜がスクリーンで大暴れ！世界は映画に驚き、恐竜ブームを巻き起こしたほどの映画です。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">ところがいざ鑑賞をしてみると、ただの恐竜パニック映画ではないのが分かります。恐竜映画であると同時に、人の愚かさを描いた映画でした。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">テーマとなっていたのは、人間のエゴと格差問題。己のエゴのために生命を生み出し、物として扱うことの恐ろしさ。はては「戦争の道具」として、利用しようと企んでいる人物も登場していました。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">命を道具にする行為は、映画の中だけの話と信じたいところです。しかし現実でも、既に起きています。強者に「道具」として扱われる弱者。人としての尊厳を奪い取られ、強者に虐げられている人々。胸に詰まるものがありました。</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">シリーズ1作目「ジュラシック・パーク」のオマージュ</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">「ジュラシック・ワールド」では、シリーズ1作目「ジュラシック・パーク」のオマージュが散りばめられていました。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">ジュラシック・ワールドへ繋がる門。恐竜に追いかけられるシーン。乗り物の中でT-レックスの襲撃に合うシーン。倒れてしまった恐竜に寄り添うシーン。オペレーターが着ていたTシャツ。ヒロインの服装。発煙筒を使うシーンは、そのまま「ジュラシック・パーク」でどれも印象深いです。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">さらに、ジュラシック・ワールドの全貌が明らかになるシーンでは、ジョン・ウィリアムズの「ジュラシック・パーク」のメロディが流れていました。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">「ジュラシック・ワールド」は、シリーズを見たことがない人でも楽しめます。でも過去のシリーズを知っている人が観ると、別角度からも楽しめるようになっていました。</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">真の主役は2人の兄弟</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">「ジュラシック・ワールド」の主人公は、誰が何と言おうともクリス・プラット演じるオーウェンです。ただ真の主人公として捉えるのなら、2人の兄弟でしょう。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">兄のザックは16歳の男の子。思春期が抜けていないためか、少々捻くれています。弟のグレイは、恐竜大好きな11歳の男の子。そして今作は、兄弟がジュラシック・ワールドに訪れるところが始まります。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">兄弟の両親は離婚寸前になっていますが、子供達には打ち明けていません。しかし当の子供達は、既に感づいています。そんな兄弟二人は、彼らの叔母にあたるのは、ジュラシック・ワールドの責任者であるクレアに預けられます。クレアは利益至上主義で、家族は「二の次」と考えています。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">兄弟の周りにいる大人達は、全く頼りになりません。そんな中でも兄弟は、獰猛な恐竜の追跡を逃れ生き抜きます。しかも廃車同然の車を修理してピンチを脱するのだから、想像以上に逞しいです。「ジュラシック・パーク」だとハモンドの孫である<strong>マーフィー姉弟</strong>が同じ立ち位置だと思いますが、そちらはグラント博士がついていましたので、いかに今作の兄弟が逞しさが伺えます。</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">意外性ゼロのストーリー展開</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">ジュラシック・ワールドで1つ気がかりに感じたのは、意外性ゼロのストーリー展開でした。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">痛烈な社会批判や遺伝子操作の恐竜等、チャレンジ精神あふれていると思います。これはジュラシック・パークで恐ろしい恐竜であったヴェロキラプトルが、今作だと<strong>ブルー</strong>というなで主人公オーウェンとの親密な交流があり斬新な要素です。</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">しかし映画全体で見ると、大昔から上映されてきたパニック映画のままです。結末がどうなるかは、早い段階から想像がつきました。要は、ステレオタイプなパニック映画です。まあこれもジュラシック・パークをオマージュしている結果からくるものかもしれません。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">ただ欲を言えば「ジュラシック・パークⅢ」から数えて14年ぶりの新作だからこそ、もう少し冒険して欲しかった気がしました。</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">人のエゴはジュラシック・パークから引き継いでいます</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">「ジュラシック・ワールド」映画後半の展開は、戦争映画のようでした。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">ジュラシック・ワールドで恐竜が暴れた原因は、遺伝子操作の恐竜「インドミナス」の脱走でした。インドミナスが脱走した原因となったのは、施設不備です。施設不備を引き起こしたのは、人間の行き過ぎたエゴと愚かさ。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">命の危険に立たされていることは、ジュラシック・ワールドの来客者には伝わっていません。利権を守るために人々の生活を犠牲にした結果、自分達の首を絞めることに。似たような出来事は「戦争」という現実で、既に起きています。</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">2015年から始まった新しいジュラシック・ワールドが完結する。前作のジュラシック・ワールド/炎の王国で恐竜が人の世界に解き放たれ、どんな共存した世界がまっているのか？</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">と思いきやそれは冒頭の30分ぐらいで終わり、ほぼスパイ映画となっていました。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">スパイ映画といっても娯楽要素がつよくしっかりと恐竜アトラクション映画として楽しむことができる作品となっていました。</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">過去のジュラシック・パークの登場人物がレジェンドとして登場</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">1993年に劇場公開されスピルバーグ監督より3DCGをたくみに使用しリアルな恐竜を描くことに成功した「<strong>ジュラシック・パーク</strong>」。その主要登場人物であるアラン・グラント博士（サム・ニール）、エリー・サトラー博士（ローラ・ダーン）とイアン・マルコム博士（ジェフ・ゴールドブラム）が再登場します。これは過去作から観ている人には嬉しいものでした。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">またジュラシック・パーク1作目のオマージュが随所に見られました。イアンがギガノトサウルスに囮となってみせたり、ディロフォサウルスがある悪役（ネタバレになるので伏せます）に襲い掛かるシーンもあったりと過去作を見ていると過去作を思い出しながら楽しむことができました。</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">大事なものを救出と陰謀を暴く2軸で進行するスパイ映画。</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">前作で恐竜を人の世界に解放してから4年後の世界。そんな恐竜がちまたに恐竜がいる世界で人はどんな生活を営んでいるのかと思いきや意外と普通に生活しています（そんなに恐竜の数は少ないのかもしれない）。もの珍しいもの動物として違法な繁殖や不法取引の材料として扱われている。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">そんな中前作からのメインキャストであるクレアは捕獲・繁殖された瀕死の子恐竜を救出したり、オーウェンはカウボーイさばがら逸れた恐竜を保護区に連れ戻したりとしています。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">そして前作から今作でも重要な人物として登場するジュラシック・パーク共同創設者の亡き娘の遺伝子から生まれたクローンであるメイジーはクレアとオーウェンの養女として山奥で暮らしています。4年から経ち思春期を迎え、二人の危険だから町に行ってはいけないなどの山奥の生活に閉塞感を覚えています。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">そんな3人の元に今作で重要な遺伝子をもつブルーの赤ちゃん「ベータ（メイジー命名）」と、メイジーがジュラシック・ワールドの大手CEOバイオ会社「バイオシン」の手により誘拐されてしまう。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">その一方ウェストテキサス州の農場では不可解な出来事が多発する。肥大化したイナゴが農場の作物を食い散らかしてしまう事例が発生。引っ張り出されたのは植物学者のエリーでしである。エリーは食い散らされた畑の中でバイオシンの肥料を使った畑だけ食い散らされていないことに気づく。エリーはかつての旧友でありレジェンドの博士となりバイオシンから怪しまわれないアラン博士と共にバイオシン社を訪れます。そこでイアン博士の協力の下、真正面からバイオシン社に潜入する。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">こういったようにクレアとオーウェンがメイジーを救出する物語とエリーとアランがイアンの協力のもとバイオシン社に潜入する物語という2軸の物語が同時進行で進んでいきます。</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">あれ恐竜は？</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">1993年に公開された「<strong>ジュラシック・パーク</strong>」。当時の最新CG技術によって劇場に登場した恐竜体験はそれはもう素晴らしい映画体験を与えてくれました。そんな恐竜映画も今作で6作目であり、冒頭ジュラシック・ワールドの顔ともなったモササウルスがベーリング海で漁船を転覆するシーンや、雪山でステゴサウルスが湖を闊歩しいたり、トリケラトプスの赤ちゃんが不法な取引をしていたりと冒頭に今作の世界での人間と共存について提起しています。そしてやっぱり恐竜の描写に迫力と愛着がありました。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">これはジュラシック・パークを初めて見たときを思い起こされるものでした。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">しかしながらそれ移行はエンターテイメントを求めて共存はどこいったという感じになります。恐竜というより俳優を見せることに注力し、ザ・恐竜とハリウッドスターがコラボレーションしている映画となって行く感じがしました。恐竜がオーウェンやクレアに襲いかかるシーンがところどころあるのですが、人間兵器となっている恐竜が襲いかかっても野生の恐竜が襲いかかるわけではないので人間のほうが主役なのかなと思ってしまいました。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">そして今作で重要になってくるのが「イナゴ」。虫かよ！それが巨大化して人間社会に大きな災となる。イナゴの群れは<a href="https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E5%87%BA%E3%82%A8%E3%82%B8%E3%83%97%E3%83%88%E8%A8%98" target="_blank" rel="noopener">出エジプト記</a>に出てくるぐらい有名だが今作で出す意味ってあったのかな。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">T・レックスはきちんと出てきます。ただもはやこのシリーズだから出さないといけないよね。みたいなだれかの顔を伺ってだした印象で恐ろしさもなくスリリングでもなく作品の顔では無くなってしまったなという気がしました。</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">エンターテイメント大作の完結として</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">スパイ映画としてアクションは楽しく鑑賞できましたし、過去作のキャストも出演しこれは「ジュラシック・パーク」のファンとしてうれしいです。ただこれはなんとなくよくある3部作のハリウッド映画というのが感想です。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">新三部作の1作目は良かった。これからが楽しみと思っていたら2作目であれ？作品の方向性が変わるの？で3作目はまあなんとか締めたな…。これはあれです、<strong>『スター・ウォーズ』新三部作と同じ感想です…</strong>。</p>
