<h2 class="wp-block-heading">A series of powerful action scenes</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One of the highlights of &#8220;PSYCO-PASS the Movie&#8221; is the decisive action scenes. The TV series was highly acclaimed for its action scenes, but this film is even more polished, and the battle scenes will make your hands sweat. The tense action scenes are definitely top-class.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I was disappointed that the story was less brutal and tragic than the first and second seasons.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This work will be a complement to the third season or OVA.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The killing scene by the Dominator is a bit grotesque, so those who are not fond of grotesqueries may need to be careful.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">One disappointing aspect of &#8220;PSYCO-PASS the Movie&#8221; is that there is a lot of English dialogue in the beginning. Each line in &#8220;PSYCO-PASS&#8221; has a deep meaning, and many of the statements are challenging to understand, even in Japanese. Nevertheless, most of the dialogue in the early part of the movie is in English, and the voice actors are Japanese, which gives the impression that the movie is quite difficult to watch.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Nevertheless, the development from the middle to the end of the film is superb. I can&#8217;t go into details because it would be a spoiler, but my favorite is the last scene after the staff roll. Think you&#8217;ve been tricked, and enjoy the film until the end.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">冒頭で簡単な説明こそありますが設定がやや複雑であるため、事前にテレビシリーズ『PSYCO-PASS サイコパス』を視聴しておくことをおすすめします。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">TVシリーズ１期と２期が国内のみで今作ではじめて海外に目を向け、海外はこんなに悲惨で無法な世界。だから、やっぱりシビュラシステムは必要という問いかけになると思います。</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">PSYCO-PASS サイコパスという作品</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">初めて『PSYCO-PASS サイコパス』を視聴するという人向けに、知っておきたい事前設定を紹介しておきます。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">作品の舞台となるのは、人間のあらゆる心理状態や性格傾向を数値化する「シビュラシステム」が導入された近未来の日本。特に犯罪に関わる数値は「犯罪係数」として計測されており、たとえ罪を犯していない人だろうと規定値以上の犯罪係数が検知されれば犯罪予備軍である「潜在犯」として拘束または処分されてしまいます。そんな監視社会で発生する犯罪を抑制するため、公安局の刑事はシビュラシステムと接続されている特殊拳銃「ドミネーター」を使用し、かつて潜在犯認定された執行官たちと共に治安維持活動を行っています。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">本作品はそんな公安局刑事課一係の活動と葛藤を描いた作品であり、『劇場版 PSYCO-PASS サイコパス』はシビュラシステムが紛争国にも導入されるというストーリーとなっています。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">そんな『劇場版 PSYCO-PASS サイコパス』の一番の魅力は「正義」や「幸せ」の定義を問う重厚なストーリー。この世界は人のあらゆる側面を数値化しAIに常に管理されています。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">適した職業や人生の大きな選択も全てAIによって自動的に導かれていくわけで、この徹底された社会のおかげで人々の生活は保障されているわけですね。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">先述した犯罪係数も同様で、規定値を超えた者は即殺処分。AIの判断は絶対であり、たとえ罪を犯していない人間でも例外はありません。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">そんな管理社会で「人の意思はどこにあるのか？」「人々の幸せとは？」「正義ってなに？」といった強烈なメッセージをこれでもかと投げつけてくる作品です。</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">迫力のあるアクションシーンの連続</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">『劇場版 PSYCO-PASS サイコパス』は、迫力あるアクションシーンも見どころの一つです。テレビシリーズでもアクションシーンの表現方法には高い評価を受けていましたが、本作は更に磨きがかかっており、戦闘シーンは手に汗握るものがあります。緊迫したアクションシーンの出来は、間違いなくトップクラスと言って良いでしょう。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">前半では殺戮シーンがありますが、なんとなくたくさん殺しただけ。TVシリーズのような残虐さは弱めでした。1期、2期ほど物語自体に残酷さや悲惨さはなかったのが少しがっかりでした。<br>これから3期またはOVAへの補完とおもう作品でした。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">ドミネーターによる殺害シーンにはややグロ描写があるため、苦手な人は注意が必要かもしれません。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">『劇場版 PSYCO-PASS サイコパス』の残念な点を挙げるとすれば、序盤に英語のセリフが非常に多いというところ。『PSYCO-PASS サイコパス』は一つ一つのセリフが深い意味を持っていて、日本語でさえ難解な発言が多いです。それにも関わらず映画の序盤のほとんどが英語ゼリフかつ声優さんが日本人であるため、かなり見にくい印象を受けますね。</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">とはいえ、中盤からラストにかけての展開は最高の一言に尽きます。ネタバレになりますので詳しくは言えませんが、スタッフロール後のラストシーンは個人的に一番好きなシーンです。騙されたと思って、最後の最後まで楽しんでみてください。</p>
